Yes. Open the bill screen, tap scan, point camera at barcode — beep, item added, total updated. Works with most product barcodes (atta packs, oil bottles, soap, biscuits). For items without printed barcodes (loose grain), search by name or use a custom code. USB barcode scanners also supported for high-volume counters.

Most kirana items have a printed MRP. Set MRP and your purchase cost — the app calculates margin automatically. You can also set a discount (₹2 off MRP, common for regulars) and the app tracks how much you give in discounts vs your real margin. Useful for spotting items where you're over-discounting.

Set price per kg for loose items (atta ₹35/kg, dal ₹110/kg). At the counter, type the weight and the bill calculates automatically. Works the same way as sweet shop weight pricing — common for Indian kirana stores selling everything from rice to spices loose.
