Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing, accessing, or using HisaabNow ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who can use the app

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be a legal resident of India (or your country must allow use of this service)
• You must provide accurate information when signing up
• You are responsible for keeping your phone number secure (since login is via OTP)

3. What HisaabNow does

HisaabNow is a point-of-sale (POS), billing, and inventory app for small shop owners. The app helps you:

• Create and print bills (Smart Billing with voice support)
• Track sales, profits, expenses, and inventory
• Manage staff commissions and customer udhar (credit)
• Receive AI-powered insights about your shop's performance
• Sync data securely across devices

4. Your account

• You log in with your phone number via OTP — there is no password
• You are responsible for all activity that happens on your account
• Do not share your phone or device with others while logged in
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

5. Pricing and subscriptions

HisaabNow offers a free 7-day trial. After the trial, paid plans are available:

• Basic: ₹99/month or ₹990/year
• Pro: ₹149/month or ₹1,490/year
• King: ₹399/month or ₹3,990/year (unlimited shops, advanced AI insights, priority support)

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed via Razorpay or Google Play Billing. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6. Refund policy

• The first 7 days are free, so no charges apply unless you choose to subscribe
• Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund within 14 days of purchase if you have used the app less than 10 times in that period
• Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7 business days

7. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal activity, fraud, or money laundering
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code
• Use the app to harass, threaten, or harm anyone
• Bypass payment by sharing accounts or using fraudulent payment methods
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app without our written permission
• Use bots or automated scripts to interact with the app

8. Your data

Your shop data (sales, customers, inventory) belongs to you. We process it according to our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from the app settings.

9. Service availability

• The app works offline; data syncs when you reconnect to the internet
• We aim for 99.5% server uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance whenever possible
• We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That AI insights or sales projections will be accurate
• That the app will be free from bugs or errors
• That voice billing will correctly transcribe every word
• That the app will be compatible with every device or Android version

You are responsible for verifying your bills, GST calculations, and tax filings independently.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or data loss.

12. Changes to the service

We may update the app, add or remove features, or change pricing at any time. If we make significant changes that affect you, we will notify you in the app or via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

13. Termination

• You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete My Account
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data is removed from our active servers within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements)

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Before going to court, we encourage you to contact us at admin@hisaabnow.com to resolve the matter amicably.
